At an age when most kids were worrying about schoolwork, Dixie was already building a career. She walked into Dominion Resources at sixteen and never looked back — rising from Com-troller to Supervisor of Payroll Services over half a century of dedication, discipline, and quiet excellence.

While building a career that spanned more than five decades, Dixie was also building something far more profound — a family rooted in love, resilience, and her irreplaceable presence.
